Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of TapMoji (mobile app and web version), published by the publisher reachable at contact@tapmoji.com.

2. Acceptance

By installing, opening, or using TapMoji, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Description of the service

TapMoji is a free arcade game. You may create an account to save progress, use the leaderboard, and unlock emojis. Guest mode lets you try the game without signing up. On Android and iOS, rewarded ads (Google AdMob) may be offered for optional features; the web version does not include them.

4. User account

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
• Changing your display name is limited in practice to about once every six months, as implemented in the service; abusive attempts to bypass this may result in action on your account.
• You may delete your account from the app when that feature is available, or contact us at the address above.

5. Conduct and content

You agree to:

• Use TapMoji fairly and in compliance with applicable laws.
• Not choose a nickname, text avatar, or in-game behaviour that is abusive, harassing, unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Not attempt to cheat, alter scores, or compromise the security of the service.

We may suspend or delete an account for serious breaches of these rules.

6. Intellectual property

TapMoji, its name, interface, artwork, and code are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorised copying or exploitation is prohibited. Emojis may come from third-party sets (e.g. Twemoji, CC-BY 4.0 licence) under their own licences.

7. Availability and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or data loss due to force majeure or misuse.

8. Personal data

Processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Audience

TapMoji is intended for the general public. If you are below the age at which you may consent alone to online data processing in your country, account use must be with a parent or guardian’s consent.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms. The update date at the top will change. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance where required by law or where we inform you appropriately.

11. Governing law

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by French law. Competent courts shall be those provided by applicable law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
